Common questions
- Is there a trial?
- Yes. After a demo we set up a trial account with every feature turned on. No charge applies during a trial or until you subscribe.
- What counts as an active project?
- Any project that isn't archived, including leads and finished jobs you haven't archived yet. Archive a finished job and it stops counting toward the Starter limit. You can unarchive it at any time.
- Do I need QuickBooks?
- No. QuickBooks is optional, and Fabric connects to QuickBooks Online only, not QuickBooks Desktop. Without it, Fabric handles proposals, pay apps, change orders and invoices on its own.
- Does Starter include QuickBooks?
- No. On Starter, sending a pay app creates the invoice in Fabric with its own invoice number. On Professional, the invoice is created in QuickBooks Online, which numbers it, and payments sync back.
- How many users can I add?
- Both plans include unlimited users with Admin, PM and Viewer roles. There are no per-seat charges.
- Do my clients need an account?
- No. Your client opens the portal and signing pages from a link you send, without a password, and clients don't count as users.
- Can I switch plans later?
- Yes. Email hello@gofabric.app to upgrade or downgrade. The change applies from your next billing cycle.
- How do I cancel?
- Plans run month to month. Email us to cancel, and your access runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
- Can I export my data?
- Every document exports to PDF at any time. After you cancel you have 30 days to export, and we'll send a data export on request.
